Custom sheet metal enclosure manufacturing

Integrated production for prototypes, repeat orders, and structural assemblies.

Production capability

From cut parts to finished assemblies

High-mix production runs and recurring contracts are supported by an in-house process chain, helping keep quality checks and scheduling connected.

Cutting and forming

12 kW and 6 kW fiber lasers process carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum up to 25 mm. Five CNC press brakes cover 35-ton to 200-ton capacity.

Hardware and welding

Automated clinching installs hardware. Twenty-four welding stations support handheld laser, MIG, and TIG processes.

Finishing

An in-house 2500 × 6000 mm powder line completes finishing without outside vendors. Masking for threads and mating surfaces is standard.

Material range

Standard capacity includes carbon steel from 0.8–20 mm, 304/316 stainless up to 12 mm, and aluminum up to 15 mm. Plate rolling and dedicated saws support curved guards, profiles, and tubing.

Before you get started

10 questions overseas buyers ask

Straightforward answers to help you evaluate fit, prepare drawings, and plan a first order.

1. Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

There is no fixed MOQ. Prototype lots of one to three pieces are welcome, with capacity to scale to runs of 10–500 units and recurring annual blanket orders.

2. How long do samples take?

First-article samples typically ship within 10–14 working days after drawing approval. Custom weld jigs may require tooling or fixture charges, which are identified when applicable.

3. Which drawing and 3D file formats do you accept?

Native SolidWorks, STEP, IGES, and native Inventor files are preferred. Fully dimensioned 2D PDFs with GD&T and bend callouts are also workable. A five-person engineering team performs DFM checks on every incoming package before quoting.

4. What are your standard payment terms?

Standard terms are 30% deposit with the order and 70% before shipment. Net-45 or net-60 terms may be available for approved accounts after three successful deliveries.

5. What surface finishes can you provide?

The in-house powder line offers any RAL color. Stainless steel options include #4 brush, electropolish, or passivation. Weld seams can be blended or left as-welded to specification, and masking for threads and mating surfaces is standard.

6. How are non-conforming parts handled?

Shipments include a dimensional report and material certificates. If parts are outside tolerance, notify us within 10 days with photos and measurements. Following root-cause review, a replacement or credit is issued; Enclosuremfg covers return freight.

7. What materials and thicknesses can you manufacture?

Standard ranges are carbon steel from 0.8 mm to 20 mm, 304/316 stainless steel up to 12 mm, and aluminum up to 15 mm. Structural profiles and square tubing can also be cut on dedicated saws.

8. What types and sizes of parts do you make?

Work ranges from small junction boxes to frames up to 6 meters long. Capabilities include laser profiling, multi-axis bending, PEM insertion, welding, coating, and plate rolling for cylinders or curved guards.

9. What products and industries are a good fit?

CNC machine builders order full-width operator consoles with integrated cable management. Battery storage integrators source IP-rated cabinets with welded frames and powder-coated doors. Telecom contractors request weatherproof NEMA 4X enclosures with mounting rails and gasketing.

10. How are lead times set, and what should an RFQ include?

Lead times are confirmed in the quotation and updated weekly during production. Send drawings and annual volume estimates to info@enclosuremfg.com, including target finish, material grade, packaging, and labeling requirements. A formal quote with lead time and payment schedule typically follows within two business days.
