Typical quote turnaround
A considered combination of finished aluminum panels, formed galvanized liners, and accurately placed PCB standoffs.
Chassis fundamentals
Three parts. One dependable fit.
A functional rack-mount chassis brings the front panel, electronics-carrying liner, and I/O or cooling panels together with accurate dimensions and mounting locations.
01 / Interface
Aluminum front panel
Provides the visible finish, rack-ear interface, connector cutouts, and mounting holes.
02 / Structure
Lightweight galvanized liner
Precisely formed inner structure supports electronics while keeping overall weight down.
03 / Electronics
Accurate PCB mounting
Standoff hole patterns are matched to board coordinates to prevent downstream assembly problems.
Integrated manufacturing
Every key operation under one roof
Enclosuremfg processes rack chassis from laser-cut blanks through forming, hardware insertion, edge finishing, and coating. Keeping these steps in one facility helps schedule changes move through production without pushing the rest of the job outside.
| Process step | Equipment | Typical tolerance | Rack chassis application |
|---|---|---|---|
| Front panel profiling | 12 kW fiber laser | ±0.1 mm | Mounting holes and connector cutouts |
| Liner bending | Multi-axis CNC press brake | ±0.2 mm | 90° bends and hemmed edges for slide fit |
| Standoff installation | Auto clinch / servo riveter | ±0.15 mm hole pitch | Pre-placed copper pillars for PCBs |
| Edge finishing | Belt grinder and chamfer station | Visual #4 / bright | Brushed aluminum with radius corners |
| Final coating | 2500 × 6000 mm powder line | Uniform film | Optional textured or smooth finishes |
Designed around your build
Details that matter in every rack unit
The finish and fit are especially important when high-end audio converters and precision test instruments share a rack with heat-sensitive equipment.
-
01
Brushed, bright edges
Aluminum front panels receive a uniform brushed grain and a high-gloss chamfer on visible edges.
-
02
Light, precisely formed liners
High-precision bends and controlled bend radii help galvanized liners slide into rails without binding.
-
03
Pre-installed copper standoffs
Copper pillars are pre-riveted at accurate X-Y coordinates before coating, avoiding secondary drilling.
Production planning
Match the process to your quantity
Production approach can adapt to the run size and finish requirements, while keeping the enclosure design and manufacturing steps connected.
10–50 units
Laser cutting and manual deburring help keep lead times short while delivering the required edge quality.
100–500 units
The same programs can run on the automated line, with the in-house powder system available for finishing.
Mixed finishes
When a design combines stainless hardware and painted panels, masking keeps powder on specified surfaces only.
Quality workflow

CMM measurement
Hole locations and the overall envelope are measured before the batch proceeds.

Final inspection
Fit and torque checks
A 19-inch rack rail fixture checks fit, and a sample of installed standoffs receives a torque test.
